YOUR HOLIDAY INSTRUCTIONS

 

1.       Locate your kitchen, specifically the oven. Call appliance dealer for operating instructions.

2.      Open 2 - 3 bottles of wine. Pinot Noir, Beaujolais or Riesling are good choices. Drink at least 1 NOW. 

        Now proceed to step 3.

3.       WHOLE TURKEY: Place in shallow roasting pan. Cover w/ aluminum foil.  Put in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and leave in oven for another 30 minutes. Check w/ meat thermometer for 165 internal temperature.  Sip wine, slice, serve and enjoy!

4.       BEEF TENDERLOIN: Place in shallow roasting pan, cover w/ aluminum foil. Put in a pre-heated oven at 300 degrees for 45minutes. Check w/ meat thermometer for 135 internal temp. You will have au jus gravy in the pan which can be thickened if desired. Sip wine, slice, serve and enjoy!

5.       TURKEY BREAST:   Place in a shallow roasting pan covered with foil and put into pre-heated 350 degree oven for 1 hr, check for internal temp of 160.

6.       CERTIFED ANGUS BEEF BRISKET:  Place into shallow roasting pan, add 2 – 4 oz. of beef or chicken stock (water will do), cover with foil and place into 350 degree pre-heated oven for 30-45 mins.  Internal temp of 160 degrees.

7.       SPIRAL CUT HAM:  Place into a shallow roasting pan and cover with foil, put into a pre-heated 300 degree oven for 45 mins., uncover and raise heat to 425 degrees for 25 mins.

8.       RIBS:  Place in shallow pan (leave wrapped) and put in 275 degree preheated oven for 30-45 minutes. Unwrap and serve.

9.       BAKED BEANS & RICE DRESSING:

MICROWAVE :  In plastic or glass container, place sides in the microwave (no lids) for 2 minute intervals, stirring between each session.  Should be to temp in 2 or 3 minutes. 

OVEN:  Transfer to shallow pan, cover and bring to temp in a 350 degree oven for    20-30 minutes.

10.     ASIAN COLE SLAW:  Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Add Chinese noodles and toss.

11.     POTATO SALAD:  Keep refrigerated until serving time.

12.      DESSERTS: Serve Chocolate Sheetcake and White Chocolate Bread Pudding warmed in microwave,  pour over w/ sauce. You’re on your own for whipped cream or ice cream.

13.     Drink Open Bottles of Wine.
